Rain or Shine: The Solution is Granules

Welcome!

Our topic for today will be about our crazy weather here in the Rio Grande Valley!  A lot of the times we rather not get pest control because we feel like the rain is going to mess you up, but in reality, MID VALLEY PEST CONTROL has an easy solution when it comes to that.

It's a sunny, beautiful day in the Rio Grande Valley and you are waiting for our technician to arrive at your home to get a pest control service.  But wait!  Tim Smith, Meteorologist has just confirmed a slight chance that it could rain around the time that we had scheduled you.  So what do you do?  You call us and you tell us that you would rather cancel the service because it's going to rain.  We tell you that as long as it's sprinkling we can go ahead and do the service and here's why:
We use a type of product called Granules, or as I call them, "Bursts of Chemicals".  Every time we go spray your home for a general pest control, we use our seed spreader and spread the granules right before we are going to spray your lawn.  What the granules do, is they help give a little bit more pesticides on your lawn to protect you from roaches, ants, spiders, silverfish, ticks, and fleas.  The awesome thing about these bursts of chemicals, is that every time you water your lawn, or right after we spray your lawn, it releases these pesticides for an added level of extra protection for your home.

So we get to your home to spray the service and about 30 minutes after we leave it starts raining, but you're not worried!  Why?  Because we put granules down on your lawn and now you're getting even MORE for what you paid for! Do not think that you can just use this and be over with it, it's always best to follow with what your pest control company says with the pest control procedure.

That's the great thing about MID VALLEY PEST CONTROL, that we make sure to let you know ahead of time exactly what we are doing ahead of time.  So it's finally settled, as long as it's sprinkling out, we will go ahead and spread the granules in your lawn and even if it rains, it's an extra layer of pesticides.

On a side note, when we do use this type of product, we always want to make sure the customer knows that the lawn needs to be cut before we do the service.  This is to ensure that the granule-base product gets deep in the soil enough for us to control the pests that you are having a problem with, whether that be roaches, ants, spiders, silverfish, fleas, or ticks.  As we always claim that no product is guaranteed safe, but we may answer any other questions that may arise.

This article explains how granules provide effective pest control even during unpredictable weather. It's reassuring to know that treatments remain effective, rain or shine.
